1. What is BYALYMO?

BYALYMO (By Aly Mo) is an artist-run brand created by Alyshea Mo. Focusing on hand-done processes, the collection includes original oil paintings, art prints, hand-dyed apparel and more. 

Alyshea Mo is a multi-disciplinary artist with a fine art background. A full-time freelance artist who tells moody stories through painting, video/sound installations, tie-dye and more. Her day to day is spent painting tiny paintings to large wall murals, participating in exhibitions, running BYALYMO, doing pop-ups and teaching art.

2. How do I order a commissioned painting?

My commission prices are dependent on the size and complexity of the piece. A tiny 5cm x 5cm painting starts at $45. The timeline of the work will following accordingly, please give at least 2 weeks in advance. You may reference an older work of mine if you're interested in a similar concept. I also welcome brand new concepts that you'd like to see on canvas. After discussion, I will commence painting and then show a picture of the almost completed work. At this stage you are allowed to make minor changes/feedback before I sign off and varnish. 50% deposit is required before the start of the project and the remaining can be paid after receiving the completed work.

3. How does Byalymo work towards sustainability?

Byalymo is a one-woman show so every single order and product is packed and checked by myself. My designs on wearables, prints, stickers are all printed locally by professionals and are not mass produced to negate deadstock. I support slow fashion by focusing on DIY/hand-done processes on my wearables which I do individually by hand so every piece is an original. I'm constantly improving my techniques that I have been working on since my teenage years - if you are an OG teafordays.wordpress.com reader, you have a special place in my heart  ( つ´∀｀)つ.
I am dedicated to constantly work towards creating less waste so feel free to drop me feedback on how I can do improve.



4. How much is shipping and how long will it take?

I offer FREE tracked local shipping (Singapore) so unless otherwise stated, your order should reach you in 3-5 business days after a purchase. If it is a hand-made product it might require more time (i.e. 2-4 weeks) and it will be stated on the listing. You will also be notified in an email if there are further delays. 

Worldwide shipping is always OPEN and shipping is free above $100 for international purchases. The shipping rates are set depending on your location in relation to Singapore. All international shipments are tracked for extra security and they will minimally take 14 days or more depending on your location.

5. How do I care for my tie-dyed pieces?

6. How do I pay?

All you need is a card to purchase. I use Stripe payment for this website which allows easy international transactions. Take note of international conversions, everything listed on this page is in Singapore Dollars (SGD). Please also do note you might be subjected to taxes for your shipping. 


7. Can I refund this item?

Generally, I do not accept refunds and exchanges. Contact me and I'll reply on a case by case basis.



8. Can this be a gift?

Absolutely. Just leave your gift details and special message in the comments bar before paying. If you'd like to write a special message yourself, let me know and I'll throw in an empty gift card.
